Origin: Safflower is one of the world’s oldest cultivated oilseed plants, believed to have originated in regions of the Middle East and Asia, and is now widely grown in Europe, India, and North America. The seeds produce a light, versatile oil that is commonly used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. Our Safflower Oil is sourced from Europe and is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the safflower plant.

Safflower Oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid (Omega-6), as well as vitamin E and antioxidants. It is especially suitable for oily, combination, and sensitive skin, helping to moisturise without clogging pores and supporting a balanced, healthy-looking complexion. Its lightweight, non-greasy texture makes it ideal for facial oils, serums, moisturisers, and lightweight body care products. Safflower Oil may also be used as a carrier oil when blended with essential oils for aromatherapy treatments or added to lotions, creams, massage oils, hair care products, face masks, and bath oils.

Colour and Odour: Pale yellow in colour with a very mild, neutral aroma.

Texture: Very light, silky texture that absorbs quickly into the skin.
