Origin: Sunflowers are native to North America, where they have been cultivated for centuries before spreading across Europe and the rest of the world. Their seeds produce a light, nourishing oil that has become one of the most popular carrier oils in skincare and aromatherapy. Our Sunflower Oil is sourced from Europe and is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the sunflower plant.

Sunflower Oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid (Omega-6), as well as vitamins A, D, and E. It is especially suitable for dry, sensitive, and mature skin, helping to moisturise, soften, and support the skin's natural protective barrier. Its light, non-greasy texture absorbs easily, making it an excellent choice for massage blends, facial oils, body lotions, creams, balms, soaps, and hair care products. Sunflower Oil also makes an ideal carrier oil for blending with essential oils for aromatherapy treatments.

Colour and Odour: Pale yellow to golden in colour with a mild, neutral aroma.
