Origin: Watermelon is believed to have originated in Southern Africa and has been cultivated for thousands of years for both its fruit and seeds. The seeds produce a highly valued lightweight oil used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. Our Watermelon Seed Oil is sourced from Africa and is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the watermelon fruit.

Watermelon Seed Oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid (Omega-6), as well as vitamins A, B, and E and powerful antioxidants. It is particularly suitable for oily, combination, acne-prone, and sensitive skin, as it helps to moisturise without clogging pores and supports a balanced complexion. Its fast-absorbing, non-greasy texture makes it ideal for facial oils, serums, moisturisers, and lightweight body care products. Watermelon Seed Oil may also be used as a carrier oil when blended with essential oils for aromatherapy treatments or added to lotions, creams, massage oils, hair care products, face masks, and bath oils.

Colour and Odour: Pale yellow in colour with a very light, slightly nutty and clean aroma.
